Touchstone Behavioral Health is pleased to announce that the 12th Annual Family Fun Day event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Family Fun Day is Touchstone’s signature event that brings together the entire community for a day of fun, food, games and relaxation. It provides joy and laughter to our clients and families and it’s free!
“Family Fun Day is Touchstone’s way of giving a day relaxation and fun to the families and community we serve,” said Tim Dunst, President of Touchstone Behavioral Health. “Our families deal with a lot on a day-to-day basis. On this day, they enjoy a day of just being a family without the burdens they may have. Here, they spend the day playing games, winning prizes, eating and socializing. Our families look forward to this event every year. It really is a day that all of us look forward to from our staff to our providers and partners.”
Each year, more than 2,500 families participate in the Family Fun Day activities. Last year’s event included face painting, video games, ladder tours and fun in the “snow,” all set in a carnival atmosphere. The day ends with a raffle of gifts and prizes for those in attendance.
There are many ways for your organization to participate as planning for the 2014 event is currently underway. Some ways you can participate include:
• Participate as one of the community partners featured at the event.
• Provide volunteers for one of the numerous game stations.
• Serve as a sponsor of the event (Touchstone is a 501 (c) 3 organization). There are several sponsor options available, including in-kind donations.
These options will provide brand awareness opportunities through a fun-filled event that is attended by thousands.
