The Black Chamber of Arizona recently announced that renowned actor, Larenz Tate, will be the master of ceremonies for the 18th Annual Awards Banquet on Friday, Feb. 19.
Larenz Tate is recognized as an actor, writer and activist– recently adding producer and director to his list of accomplishments. Tate is perhaps best known for his roles in “Menace II Society,” “Inkwell,” “Dead Presidents,” “Why Do Fools Fall in Love,” “Love Jones,” “Crash,” and “Ray” among others. His latest film “Deuces,” with Meagan Good hits theaters this fall.
His television credits include “Rush,” “Rescue Me” and “House of Lies.” He currently stars in the NBC series “Game Of Silence.” The gritty drama of how a rising attorney finds his perfectly crafted life threatened when his long-lost childhood friends threaten to expose a dark secret from their past debuts April 7, 2016.
Tate and his brothers started The Tate Bros Foundation, a non-profit organization that assists and raises awareness for children living with sickle cell anemia.
