Philadelphia – The Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation proudly announces its new Board of Directors and the election of new executive leadership recently seated during the Foundation’s annual meeting. Joining the Foundation Board of Directors are Curtis A. Silvers, Damon Berry, C. Andrew McGadney, and Curtis Silvers, Jr.
Also, during the Annual Meeting, the Board elected Donald E. Frieson as President and Cain A. Hayes as Vice President. Frieson and Hayes will join Secretary Michael M. Atkinson and Treasurer Martin L. Hubbard on the Executive Committee. This distinguished leadership team brings decades of executive, governance, and nonprofit experience, further strengthening the Foundation’s mission to advance educational opportunity, leadership development, and community impact.
In addition to the new Board members, Secretary Adkinson, Directors Sean Battle, Gail Coles Johnson, and Gregory S. Thomas were re-elected to the Board. The Board also bestowed the honorary title of Director Emeritus to outgoing President Michel J. Dubose and Vice President A. Ronald Berryman.

Frieson is a recently retired Executive Vice President of Supply Chain for Lowe’s Companies, Inc., where he led a $1.7 billion transformation that modernized operations and supported more than $27 billion in sales growth. He is widely recognized for driving operational excellence, organizational transformation, and leadership development, and currently serves as a corporate board director for Casey’s General Stores. Frieson is a life member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
Hayes most recently served as President and CEO of Point32Health, where he led the historic merger of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan to form a $9.4 billion health and wellness organization serving 2.2 million members. A nationally respected thought leader in governance and strategy, Hayes currently serves on the board of directors of DocuSign and several nonprofit organizations. He is also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
